About Me

Early this Spring semester, I worked for a supplemental tutoring service company called A Better Tomorrow Education, and this was my first time tutoring 1-on-1. This experience allowed me to discover and reinforce skills in education assistance not only in such a face-to-face environment, but also with younger clients. Toward the summer, all of my students I was assigned eventually thanked me for helping them with their studies and giving them advice. It were moments like these that remind me how much I love doing this. Every day I tell myself to be the person I needed ten years ago, and I feel like I'm going in the right direction. I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a BFA - Illustration degree. I ultimately strive to teach classes at the university level, and I would like to continue gaining experience through tutoring. I believe that I not only would be an asset for Varsity Tutors, but Varsity Tutors would also be paramount in my journey to achieving my goals in the future.
