About Me

I am a recent graduate of Stony Brook University where I received my B.S. in Chemistry with concentrations in Chemical Physics and Environmental Chemistry, with a minor in Environmental Studies. Education in all aspects is my passion, and I believe that students who are instilled with problem-solving skills and a drive to take control of their own learning are those who will succeed. I tutor Chemistry, Physics, Algebra, and Pre-Calculus. My favorite subject to tutor is Chemistry because I initially struggled as a high school chemistry student, but instead of giving up, I learned valuable critical thinking skills and a sense of perseverance which resulted in my current goal of obtaining a Ph.D. in Chemistry. Aside from teaching, I enjoy biking, yoga, and traveling. It is important for me to give my students the skills they need to succeed without a tutor so that they can truly learn and understand any subjects they may tackle in the future!
