Growing up, I had a lot of difficulties with organization due to my ADD. I have learned ways to manage this that work for me, and because of this I feel that I have a strength in teaching organizational skills, especially to neurodivergent students.

I am a Reading/Writing Tutor along with Disabilities specialist. I have varied experiences working as an assistant director of a day camp, online tutor, online adjunct professor, lead Special Education and English liaison teacher, as well as several teaching publications. I am a certified teacher in moderate learning disabilities, English, ESL and have training in Orton Gillingham and Wilson reading programs!

I am an avid reader and love to learn. I went to college and law school in Maryland but found that my true passion was teaching. I have tutored students at all levels and even speak a little Spanish! I cannot wait to get started helping others and showing them that learning, if you have the right mindset, can be invaluable and also really fun!

I currently work in a K-8 private school, and teach everything from math, science and reading, to supervising gym, music and arts. I enjoy working with children, and will do my best to help any student work better and work harder to achieve their goals.

I am a special education teacher with a strong background in teach phonics and am a Certified Wilson Instructor. In addition I was also a regular education elementary teacher. I have been teaching for 6 years. I love working with students. I like to start with students' strengths and build upon those skills.
