Hello! My personal goals with tutoring are to learn the goals of the student, the challenges encountered by the student, and ultimately, the student experiencing success with regard to accomplishing his/her goals and overcoming his/her challenges. It is a great joy to me to see a person experience success toward his/her goals, and also a joy to be able to participate in that process!

I majored in Political Science and Spanish in undergrad, Latin American Economics and History in graduate school, and worked for the U.S. State Department for eight years in Brazil, Germany, Angola, and Panama, using Spanish, Portuguese, and German in a professional context daily....

I spent 10 years in the university setting as an academic counselor and learning specialist, and have helped students of all levels and learning styles.
