University of Cincinnati Graduate - Go Bearcats! WHNP CertificationCollege of Mount Saint Joseph University 36/40 hours of a DNP degreeI believe that all students have a right to quality education, guidance, as well as support to help each of them achieve a goal of becoming a practicing nurse. To often, the fundamentals of nursing as well as test-taking strategies are overlooked as important in the teachings within a nursing program. My goal is to show students how to be successful combining test-taking strategies as well as content review to pass high-stake exams, such as the NCLEX certification exam.Currently, I have a 100% pass rate on the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN certification exam (for 2020 and 2021) and am included in the "BEST TUTORS of 2020".Helping ESL students and students with special accomodations is my specialty.

I believe any student has the ability to learn any subject. The reason students tend to struggle is because the information has not be presented in a way that they can understand. As a tutor, my job is to recognize when the student is struggling. This allows me to adjust my teaching and ask different questions to gauge their understanding.I am also a huge advocate for active learning. Just reading or looking at the information is not enough to gain a grasp on the information. Through the use of recall, active work, and student-given explanations, I help the students become more confident in the work. They will feel more prepared for tests and every day class assignments.

AP Human Geography Tutor • +17 Subjects
I received my Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a Master of Arts in Global Environmental Policy from American University. I am currently a PhD student working towards a degree in Critical Human Geography. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, Writing, and History. I love to help students become the best writer they can be! In my experience helping struggling students prepare for Standardized Tests, we always seem to have the most fun (with remarkable advancements) prepping for the Critical Reading and Writing portions of the exams. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, pilates, hiking, and rock climbing.
