Tutoring review by Lindsey in Goodlettsville, TN
During the session, we completed the student's homework on graphing linear and nonlinear relations. This required finding y values for points given an expression and plotting the points on a coordinate plane. She understands the concept but seems to rush through or not pay close attention and makes mistakes that are easily avoidable. I have begun to emphasize to her to double check her work and take her time when she is doing homework or tests. When she looks back over, she is able to identify and correct mistakes. We also went over domain and range again and this time included when the domain or range is infinity. She seemed more comfortable with this concept, and said it makes better sense now than how it was explained in class. She has a quiz on Friday on the topics we have discussed.

Today, we worked on graphing and understanding transformations of trigonometric functions. The student is excellent in this material, but the material will get harder once the inverse trigonometric functions will be asked. Then, we worked on the student's warm-up exercises in Java.
