I teach taking into account the individual ability of the student to grasp the information. For instance, I would give a suitable or a related example so that the student would understand the new concept by drawing a parallel with what they know already. This would ensure their cognition and also high retention.

I had about 12 years teaching experience in middle school and college. One thing that I learned is that teach at student's level, not at my level. People easily forget how they learned when they were young, which cause the gap between a student and a tutor. For me, the most important thing of tutoring is to understand student's issue deeply and lead the student out of his/her mistaken perception of the course and himself/herself.
