A battle-tested veteran of the New York private school circuit, I graduated college in 2013 and now teach German in DC. I lived in German-speaking Europe for many years, and I majored its language, culture and history. I fully understand the many competing demands on a modern student's schedule. My tutees and I therefore tailor-make lesson plans based on their personal strengths and areas for improvement in order to fully capitalize on our time together.

I am passionate about teaching because I believe in making learning fun and I believe in motivating students. I am able to tutor Math, English-Reading and Writing, and Korean. I recently graduated with a MAT in Childhood Education 1-6 from Queens College, so I prefer to work with Elementary students. I believe one-on-one tutoring is more effective because individual attention gives personalized benefits for learning. My hobbies are listening to music and reading novels.
