I am a former middle-school English teacher (and former high-school French teacher). I am certified to teach English (grades 6-12), History/Government/Social Studies (grades 6-12), Psychology (grades 6-12), Health (grades PreK-12), General Music (grades PreK-12), and French (grades PreK-12). I have also taught AP French and college-level French. I have a B.A. in Modern Languages (French) and Sociology, an M.A. in Modern Languages (French/Second-Language Acquisition), and an M.A. in Teaching (Secondary).

I have been tutoring for close to 20 years. I enjoy helping students fill in the gaps when it comes to mathematics, preferably upper level subjects such as algebra, geometry and trigonometry. I also enjoy helping students improve their ACT scores with better test taking strategies.

Hello! I started my career as a zookeeper and followed my calling to education. I have been teaching secondary science for the last 10 years and have loved every minute. My goal for every tutoring session is to navigate through a challenging topic so the learner leaves with more confidence in his or her ability/knowledge and a better understanding of the content.
