The majority of my teaching has been 2nd grade, but I also have experience teaching Kindergarten. My name is Priscilla. I am currently a 3rd year student in medical school. I graduated from nursing school with my BSN in 2015 and passed my NCLEX two months after. I started work at MD Anderson Cancer Hospital two month later. In 2017 I started Medical school. During my first two years in medical I served in the Honors program as a tutor, teacher's assistant and a lead. I have vast experience not only in nursing, but in medicine. I decided on medicine to get a deeper understand of why we do what we do as nurses. So I am excited to share my knowledge of why things occur to give a deeper understand of concepts and how our body works as a whole. I also decided to tutor math as well because I've always had a passion for math and sciences. In fact I was able to take so many math courses in high school that I was except from taking additional math courses in college.I love motivating people to work hard and reach their potential. Sometimes that requires more work input than others but that it okay! Everyone's journey is different. I am a graduate of Lubbock Christian University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. While in school, I was tutoring fellow students on campus. I tutor mainly physics; most college math courses, and french. In my experience helping struggling students pass a class, I would say practice makes perfect. I am firm believer of education, believing that we should never stop learning until we leave this world because education is the key to success. In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies in different languages, listening to music, play and watch soccer, and read.

I am very experienced and fluent in mathematics and science subjects. I have currently finished my studies as an Aerospace Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington. My experience comes from study groups at school, and having several students help each other on any area of any subject. Particularly, I've learned to pick up when someone actually knows the subject and when they don't as well. If there are any doubts/misconceptions on any area, I can easily clarify them with real life examples that can help the development of the learning process. Most of the time this makes it much easier and interactive! I work very hard to get the job done, and I'm continuously growing and becoming a great tutor.

I just graduated in May from the University of Notre Dame (GO IRISH!) with a B.S. in Preprofessional Studies and Psychology. I love math, but I chose a career path that does not require much beyond arithmetic and science-related math. Tutoring keeps math in my life, which is awesome! I also love tutoring because I love to teach. The best part about teaching (besides using math) is the relationships with my students. I have consistently built great relationships with my students to the point where my students and I not only have a special understanding of each other's capabilities and learning/teaching strategies, but also have a lot of fun together.

I am a double major college student studying Nursing and Paralegal.I study languages for fun, and I have studied Japanese so I am very familiar with the sounds that are more difficult for Asian students to pronounce.I began tutoring last year. My first student was a very nice Chinese woman that needed help with her speaking and English comprehension. I have also spent most of my life assisting my younger cousins with their homework. I also have first hand experience with dyslexia and am eager to assist any students who are facing challenges in reading as a result of this!

When I started my research career as molecular biologist, hours of hours while spending my time in research laboratory to analyze a tiny molecule and their activity to change completely the effect of a huge molecule, gave me enormous joy of knowing the hidden mystery of human life and the environment. I realized, if spending little time on research can give me this huge accomplishment, then being a teacher when I shall be sharing my experience, story to my students and co-relate their university curriculum with my research experience and my way of teaching, how deeply they will be able to clarify their fundamental basis to establish a strong and deep knowledge in their mind and thus help them to set their future career path. As a teacher, I believe that my main duty will be to provide knowledgeable examples directly related to the teaching topic , how strongly help them to understand and clarify their mind while taking their examination than rather just remembering word by word and write.I believe, as a teacher I always focused myself on helping students to retain their complete interest on the concerned teaching topics. In my past teaching experience I have seen that when a good teaching helps students to keep their interest on topics, they were more interested to research on different references on a particular topic and thus that helped them to score good in examination.This not only helped my students but also I feel benefited me teaching them as well. It helped me to revise my own subjects as well as focusing my goal to start my PhD education again. I worked as teaching and research assistant in past and from my experience I understood that if a teacher does have both teaching and research experiences, are the better teacher to take care of his/her students understanding on different teaching topics. Thus I believe, I might be a good fit for being a teacher and that is also I considered my future goal to be a professor.
