I want to ensure that all of my students can see the true value of what they're learning in school. This was something I once struggled to understand, but now I can see the value of problem-solving and critical thinking skills that come with adolescent education. Mastery and fluency with these aforementioned skills are imperative for success in any field of study.

Teaching students to read, to write, and to appreciate literature is my life's passion. Throughout the many years of my teaching career, my students have ranged from age 5 through 55. So many of them keep in contact with me, even years after we have worked together. They all tell me the same thing: I helped them to improve their language skills.
