As you study for this part of the test, it will be helpful for you to pay special attention to ways in which biochemical, physical, and mechanical processes occur in the body.
During the Physical, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior aspect of the MCAT, you will be asked a series of 59 questions, again based on 10 passages and 15 independent questions. You will be given 95 minutes to answer all questions. Last, in the Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills part, you will be asked 53 questions based on 9 sets of passages that relate to the humanities and the social sciences. You will be given 90 minutes to finish this part of the exam. These questions will be designed to assess literary skills including English language understanding, verbal reasoning, reading comprehension, and analytical abilities. As a student, I understand how difficult school can be. Breaking down difficult concepts to more basic, understandable ideas can make all the difference. Learning should be tailored to one's needs, and classrooms cannot always teach that way. I look forward to helping students work to their full potential, and make the learning process easy. In terms of experience, I have been tutoring for 6 years now, with ages ranging from kindergarten through second-year college students.

Kevin: Cleveland MCAT course instructor
I am a chemical and environmental engineer of long experience who has a knack for explaining science and math concepts in ways that students can understand, helping them to get the concepts. I also help students with their homework in all those areas. While my strong suit is math and science, I can also help explain concepts in English, writing, history, and social studies, as well as edit/proofread papers as needed.... While I am not expert in reading comprehension help, I would try to have the students outline the passage and perhaps draw a picture of what is being discussed. If they can break the passage down by what the sentences are discussing, they can then try to put everything together for a good result.
