Hello! My name is Gabriel and I currently live in Portland, Oregon. I am a graduate of UC Berkeley (BA in History) and Stanford University (MA in Japanese). My fields of specialization are Japanese language, literature, culture, and linguistics; comparative literature; American and East Asian history; and more generalized subjects such as literary analysis and social science study methods.

As a teacher with 11+ years of experience, I hope to bring the same passion of learning that I have to students. With subjects that range from Spanish to Statistics, my goal is to help students find a way to overcome their obstacles and learn in a way that really sticks.
