Retirement has provided a genuine opportunity to focus on how I can selectively help others. The wisdom and intuition that I have gained during my teaching career of over 18 years has helped a vast amount of students from learning English as a second language to learning other academic subjects.

My interests also include art, interior design, photography and cooking, just to name a few. All of these interests have given me a creative super power. I can think outside the box and I can help students by tapping into their personal skills and talents which can provide valuable insights on how a student can be motivated and inspired.

Also, my academic education and work experience has exposed me to people from different cultures, backgrounds and learning styles. I have taught all age groups and focus on the specific goals that are particular to a student. I focus first on how a student can best learn and what they are comfortable with. Everyone is different. Personal attention is a critical component and it builds trust and ease in learning. Positive encouragement is also important and builds confidence.

It will be my pleasure to work with you and provide you with the greatest learning opportunities and instruction. The ability to facilitate improvements in a person's life always brings me joy and satisfaction.
