I am an experienced classroom teacher with over 20 years of experience at the upper elementary level. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English, a Master's Degree in Education, and a Master's Degree in Education Administration. I am also a certified Master Naturalist and licensed Wilderness Guide. I can tutor all content areas at the upper elementary level, grades 4 through 6. I have also taught 3rd grade. My favorite subjects are writing, reading, social studies, math, and science
I love to teach because I love seeing how excited my students get about mastering new ideas and concepts. I also love to teach because I enjoy learning alongside my students. They teach me to think about things in new ways and have great ideas to share. I have taught in public Schools in New York and Florida. I have taught in private schools in New York and Florida as well as camps that teach wilderness survival and animal tracking. I am always looking for new things to learn in school and beyond.
