I'm a college instructor with 15 years of teaching and tutoring high school and college students in writing, reading, literature, gender studies, and history. With a PhD in English from UMass Amherst, I have expertise in many forms of writing as well as what it takes to succeed in college and graduate school. I have worked with English learners, gifted high schoolers, and college students from a range of backgrounds to help them achieve their goals. In our sessions, you can expect a friendly, collaborative environment where I help you identify your strengths and goals, then make a plan to achieve them.

When I'm not teaching or tutoring, I enjoy traveling, gardening, yoga, and the occasional karaoke night.
