Hi, my name is Solomon, and I am a recent UNCC college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies with a concentration in writing. I am offering tutoring services for Spanish 1 and Creative Writing. Spanish has been a prominent part of my education journey since middle school, and as a result I have developed a strong interest in learning about how cultures are presented through language. I want to help you learn foundational Spanish 1 because once you understand the basics, you will become more confident with Spanish comprehension, which will propel you forward towards language competence. In addition, I believe that language learning is one of the greatest ways to broaden your horizons as you immerse yourself in another world distinct from your own.

Furthermore, I chose to offer tutoring services for Creative Writing because writing has been one of my passions since I was a child. Whether it was poetry, short stories, journal entries, blog posts etc, writing is the most efficient way for me to express myself along with conceptualizing the nuances of the world around us. As a Creative Writing tutor, I don't want to teach you how to write but rather aid you in developing your own creative writing style by nourishing your childlike spirit through your imagination. Creative writing is a special practice, and very soon you will witness the power of your pen!

My teaching style is more relaxed. I want YOU to tell me what you are struggling with or need help in developing/understanding. I am here to guide you until you are fully confident in your craft/subject matter. However, if you are unsure where to start, don't worry we will assess your level in the subject along with your strengths and weaknesses.

Lastly, I want to leave you with a short dialogue from one of my favorite stories:
