I am passionate about helping others and creating a positive learning environment that promotes self-sufficiency. Learning is a passion of mine, and I strive to become proficient in multiple subject areas by using reasoning and investigation skills to develop competency in them. I prioritize understanding how individuals learn best to provide an inviting and positive learning experience. I gained an Associate of Science in Psychology from Georgia Military College. I graduated with honors and am an Honor Society member. I have studied courses in psychology, such as Intro to Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Psychology of Adjustments, and Research Methods for Behavioral Health majors. I am proficient in many mathematical subjects. I have taken college math courses up to applied statistics. Other courses that I have enjoyed are Principles of Accounting I, Intro to Sociology, World Literature I, and Descriptive Chemistry I and II. Completing coursework has equipped me with the aptitude to teach this knowledge to others. I enjoy exchanging ideas to broaden my critical thinking abilities. I will be learning from you while I help you become proficient in your needed subject area.

Hobbies

I enjoy fiber crafts, including crocheting, knitting, and embroidery. I love journaling and scrapbooking in my spare time as well. I recently began doing diamond art, which can be very tedious. I am also a DIY fanatic. I enjoy handiwork, so I build simple furniture and do minor house and car repairs. My motto is, "Why pay for something you can learn to do yourself?" I enjoy doing hair and have learned to do artificial nails. I also enjoy gardening outdoors. To expand my concept of the world, I enjoy learning about different countries' cultures, customs, and beliefs. I am learning about Hindi culture, including their language and religion, while exploring how they have contributed to our society and the world. You may also find me doing advanced mathematical and scientific problem-solving in the subjects of trigonometry, calculus, and physics just for fun and to challenge myself to understand complex ideas.
