I am a graduate of South University of Georgia. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and am currently completing my master's degree in Family Nurse Practitioner. Additionally, I am a certified Medical Surgical Nurse from the American Nurse Association. Since graduation, I have traveled extensively, I worked at a high school in Ecuador as an English and Spanish language teacher. I am an adjunct professor at San Jacinto College in Texas, teaching nursing classes, simulations, laboratory and clinical training. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English for Spanish speakers, Spanish language, NCLEX Review, and nursing specialties such as medical terminology, anatomy, dosage calculation, and pharmacology. I have experience teaching nursing assistants and preparing them for their certification exams, in English and Spanish. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for Standardized and Academic Tests, we always seem to have the most fun (with remarkable advancements) prepping for critical thinking, multiple choice questions, and ATI exams. I enjoy reading that which enriches my life, massage, yoga, running, and traveling.
