I am so excited to help you reach your goals. So often, education is focused on group learning, but I believe that each learner has their own individual needs. I approach each student AS an individual -- what works for you may not work for the person beside you, and that's okay! Together, we'll find what works best to help you succeed and build your confidence.

I earned my BA in Communications from a small university in the Midwest (USA) and my MFA from the University of Essex (UK). I have been working as a virtual teacher and tutor since 2017. Most of my students are learning English as a second language! I can also tutor in literature, reading, performing arts, and theatre. Though theatre is my first love and I freelance as a director, I love helping English learners grow their confidence.

Outside of academia, I do as much work in theatre as I can, which usually keeps me traveling several months out of the year. This year (2023), I've spent two months in Utah and two in Michigan. I love to cook, read, play video games (currently working my way through Breath of the Wild!), play with my cats, and enjoy the outdoors when it's not too hot & humid!
