**Personal Statement**

I am Estefana Costilla, a medical doctor with a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals. I believe that education is the key to unlocking one's potential, and I am committed to providing my students with the support and guidance they need to succeed.

My passion for teaching stems from my belief that sharing knowledge is the most profound way to leave a positive mark on the world. I find immense satisfaction in witnessing the "aha" moments when students grasp a complex concept, and I am driven by the desire to empower others through education.

Over the years, I have gained extensive experience working with students of all ages and backgrounds. I have tutored peers and colleagues, volunteered in elementary and junior high schools, and actively participated in problem-based learning initiatives. These experiences have allowed me to refine my teaching style and adapt to the unique learning needs of each student.

As a medical doctor, I am particularly passionate about tutoring subjects related to medicine, health, biology, breastfeeding, and Spanish. I believe that understanding the intricacies of the human body and mastering a foreign language are invaluable skills that can open doors to numerous opportunities.
