Hi there! Elisabeth (or Lizzy) here. I am a bilingual (Spanish and English) certified teacher with a B.S. in English education and a minor in Spanish from Northwestern State University.
TEST PREP: I help students overcome anxiety and become more familiar with the structure and content of standardized tests (PRAXIS, ACT, SAT, TOEFL, IELTS); through implementing creative memory and storytelling methods, students are often able to contextualize their knowledge better.
SPANISH: I meet student where they currently are on their Spanish learning journey (specialties: Spanish 3, 4, AP, Conversational). I studied Spanish in Mexico, Cuba, Chile, and Argentina. I love spreading my passion for the language as well as the cultural exploration aspects.
ENGLISH/WRITING: Whether a short, timed argumentative essay, a research paper, or a creative writing pieceI support students throughout the essay writing process (reading/researching, brainstorming, writing outlines, editing, etc.).
