Playing and listening to music, cooking, reading, writing, and walking with my wife are some of my favourite hobbies. My wife and I enjoy "vegging out" on the couch to true crime series (her choice) or silly cartoon sitcoms (my choice) like Bob's Burgers or King of the Hill. I love cooking for my family and friends. I have seven years of professional kitchen experience and I love reading the thoughts of authors like Samin Nosrat and Anthony Bourdain. I also love to read and re-read my favourite works of literature, graphic novels, comics, and whatever my seven-year old stepdaughter is in the mood to read. I am a multi-instrumentalist and enjoy playing the violin, piano, guitar, mandolin and occasionally the Appalachian dulcimer. I always wish I could dedicate more time to music and creative writing, but I would hate to miss the fun that comes with doing life with my mixed family as we expect my first child, another beautiful girl, who will join us in September.
