I have a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in Health Care Administration from the Florida Institute of Technology (2019). An Associate of Science from the Lone Star College (2013). I'm bilingual and capable of speaking and writing fluently in Spanish. I lived in Colombia, South America fifteen years and attended a Spanish-speaking school. I began tutoring in the 1980s when my daughter was in elementary school. I tutored art classes in summer camp for elementary students at the Christian School of Kingwood in Houston. I tutored Spanish to students of all ages at the Lone Star College in Houston, while I attended college. I like to help students learn subjects such as foreign languages and biology. I take an individual approach to each student, I try to understand what goals they follow and also their limitations. I customize my teaching methods to meet the student's needs. I also like to use different teaching activities such as creating metaphors, analogies, and anecdotes. I currently work as a Patient Services Coordinator at an International medical practice in Florida. I use my Spanish speaking skills daily to assist non-English speakers with their patient charts, medical notes, and questionnaires. I like to keep the conversations engaging. I can explain a variety of surgical procedures in a way that is easy for anyone to understand.
