I am a 4th-year student at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, originally from Denver, USA. I am completing a Bachelor of Science in Honours Biochemistry with a Minor Concentration in Hispanic Studies (Spanish). I have the Denver Public Schools Seal of Biliteracy (fluency) in Spanish. I received the Tomlinson Engagement Award for Mentoring (TEAM) in General Chemistry at my university, tutoring first-year students in this course that I had previously performed well in. I also tutor privately through McGill Tutorial Services, mainly in general and organic chemistry, biochemistry, and biology. I have years of experience teaching Irish dance to students of all ages and abilities. I took 7 AP classes in high school and received scores of 5 on all the exams, so I also feel adequately prepared to tutor AP students.
At McGill University, I participate in many extracurricular activities, including the Biochemistry Undergraduate Society. I also love to ski, even in the chilly Canadian winters! In my spare time, you will find me being active - I love hitting the gym, hiking, and dancing!
