My name is Alexis Mayer, and I have extensive tutoring and teaching experience in both mathematics and law. I earned my JD from the George Washington University Law School on a full merit scholarship, and I received my BS in Mathematics with minors in Psychology and Political Science from Virginia Tech. I have over 10 years of tutoring experience in mathematics. At Virginia Tech, I worked at the Math Emporium, where I assisted students in pre-calculus, various levels of calculus, and linear algebra. I also tutored students in all levels of math - elementary school math through Calculus BC. While in law school, I helped teach a first year legal research and writing course and also tutored evidence and criminal procedure.
