I am a graduate of Washington University in Saint Louis. There, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a concentration in Biochemistry. I also have a minor in Chemistry. I also served as a facilitator in General Chemistry for 3 of my 4 years, working with groups of 9-10 students each weekend through a host of questions developed by the course directors. I also was a TA for a summer chemistry course for incoming first-year students. I also served as a tutor in Biology, Biochemistry, Physics, Genetics, Microbiology, and Calculus. After graduating in 2017, I worked at a dermatology clinic as a Mohs Technician as well as a Medical Assistant for two years. I also worked at Apple, Inc. for one of those two years. I am now a third-year medical student passionate about education and mentorship. Here, I tutor students from underserved communities with the goal of instilling confidence that they can learn anything; they just need the time and skills to do so. While I am able to tutor in many areas, I tend to focus on science because of my background. However, I have noticed that science is a problem area for many students, which I am armed to address. Education was taught to me as the gateway to all of "the wants" in my life. This I hope to express to my students. Outside of school and tutoring, I can be found playing video games, learning about photography, listening to country music, at the gym or watching movies.

One thing that people find out about me is that I love technology. From video games to camera equipment and everything in between. At every opportunity, I am on YouTube watching videos or searching for new tech developments. I am an only child and only left my hometown of Saint Louis, Missouri to begin medical school. I also enjoy country music. Someday, I plan to become an expert line dancer.
