I am a senior at Stanford University. I plan to graduate in the spring of 2021with a Bachelor of Science in Biology (general), and am planning on applying to medical school. I have been tutoring since high school, and really enjoy working with students towards their goals! In high school I tutored other high schoolers through National Honor Society, and have informally tutored both high school and college students during my time at Stanford. I love tutoring many subjects across the board, but my favorites are biology and writing. As a premed student and biology major, I have a strong foundation in the sciences, and enjoy tutoring math as well. I am also an avid reader, and love working with students to perfect their written work! I like to work with students in whatever way will help them best learn, whether that be mini-lectures/demos, going through practice problems, or teaching tips and tricks to make your studying more engaging. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, trying new foods, and playing with my dog!

Aside from medicine, I am interested in marine biology, and have studied abroad in Australia completing courses on the coral reef and shoreline ecosystems. I hope to continue to study marine biology during my gap year before medical school. Additionally, I have taken 2 years of Italian at Stanford as well as some drawing courses, and hope to travel to Italy and work on my art! Some of my other hobbies include playing volleyball, reading, and finding new hiking trails.
