I am an elementary educator with a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Avila University. I also received my Masters Degree from Avila in Teaching English as a Second Language. I have taught first grade and I am currently in my fifth year of teaching as a K-5 teacher for English Learners.
I have experience teaching adult language learners through a community college, and I truly love working with students of all ages!
I have tutored elementary reading, math, writing, and language through after-school academic tutoring programs.

My teaching philosophy centers around creating a meaningful connection between content and skills so students can see the benefits of what they are learning in relation to their lives.
