I recently graduated cum laude from Smith College with a major in East Asian Studies and a concentration in Translation Studies. The study of foreign language is my passion. I have dedicated much of my academic career to Mandarin Chinese and French, having studied both languages for over 7 years. I spent half of my gap year in Grenoble, France and studied abroad in Beijing, China during my time as an undergrad at Smith.

In addition to simply studying foreign languages, I also have a background in linguistics, which has helped me to successfully intern as a Chinese classroom assistant and a Chinese language instructor at the Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School and the Campus School of Smith College respectively.
