I am a Speech-Language Pathologist that works closely with students in 3rd through 5th grade on their reading and writing skills in order to best succeed in school. I have a strong desire to help individuals attain their goals. I am energetic, motivating and caring, and always begin and end my sessions with a positive outlook. My passion for my work helps to motivate my students to strive and to maximize their success. During work, I enjoy helping students learn new concepts in fun and creative ways.
My teaching philosophy is that learning never stops. At the completion of my work day, I like to reflect upon what I've learned and I can study more. I am continuously fascinated by new discoveries in the field of speech and education.
My teaching style includes my ability to improvise and think quickly on my feet. I've worked with many students that refuse to participate in my treatment plans or have non-compliant behaviors. When this occurred, I developed a new strategy to adapt to the client's needs to allow them to feel more comfortable and participate in their session.
I am looking forward to working with you/your student in order to best achieve their goals.

I have a passion for working with children with language and learning difficulties. I also enjoy working with students on social skills (conversational skills) in order to best support their peer relationships. I am also passionate about cooking and baking. I grew up in a family who owned a pizza restaurant and enjoy sharing my recipes with friends. I also like working out after eating all the food I make by running, bike riding and playing tennis.
