I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Engineering and minoring in Statistics. I had an internship at Discover Financial Services and received a return offer from the company. I studied Pre-Med as well. I was the Senior Resident Advisor of my University Housing building, and served as a mentor to my residents, both academically and managing personal stresses. I was involved in undergraduate research. I was a part of the Mentorship program at Women in Electrical and Computer Engineering at my University and tutored classmates and my sibling during high school. I've volunteered at church for several years and tutored elementary and middle schoolers.

While I tutor a variety of subjects, I am most passionate about math and college applications. I particularly enjoy tutoring students for the SAT and ACT or writing college application essays because I remember how difficult it was during that time but learned to have fun with the process and would love to help students through this time. I like to share tips on time management and anxiety when taking tests, as it is a skill I've learned to master. I believe education should be engaging and exciting, and students should be able to get the help they need. I'll do my best to make sure the student understands the material and would be happy to create additional resources.

I have received numerous awards in programming for VEX Robotics, essay writing, and for my artwork. I also speak fluent Korean at home.
