Learning is about more than the subject at hand; it's about finding the ways in which you learn best and allowing yourself to have what you need, even if it isn't seen as average. Too often, our schools value data over students and forget that education is about discovery and personal growth. As a teacher and tutor, I strive to understand my students individually as whole, complex people. In doing so, I am able to better reach the person in front of me, utilizing their unique interests and talents while meeting their needs.
