One of my greatest passion is to teach all ages. I began my teaching/ training journey in the business world. To see my learners, achieve knowledge that helped them excel or receive promotions gave me great satisfaction. I began training adults in the business field, starting the representatives for the company then the management. Then I created training process for the entire footprint of a fortune 500 company. Before leaving the business world, I traveled around the United States to train individuals from the ages eighteen and up. I decided to pursue a career in the school system as a second career. I have worked with student with diverse learning styles, abilities and disabilities. I love to watch my students grow and learn. Creating new and fun ways for my students learn is one of my specialties. When working with different learning styles I make sure I address all those styles. Currently I am working with students that live in a mental health facility. Everyday I enjoy watching them grow to improve their way of life to reach their professional goals. After receiving my PhD in educational leadership and curriculum instruction (April 2018), I am planning to open a life skills center for special needs and at risk students. This center will teach various job skill, life skills and show them how to become more independent. I am a third-generation educator and I am proud to have two sons in the education field.
