Learning can be fun. Learning can be frustrating. Let's make the first the more often experienced of the two. Everyone gets frustrated, but everyone knows that feeling you have when you've figured out something, especially something difficult, and that's what I'm all about. I'm here to help! So let's get those light bulbs lighting up!
I started teaching as a camp counselor and thought that was great. Later, I was a substitute teacher, which was good. My favorite teaching experiences were when I was teaching assistant for an engineering class. It was highly satisfying to help the students learn about something I was passionate about, which I what I want to do here! Tutoring and helping with subjects I have experience in will make this a satisfying experience for everyone involved!
If you want to know a little more about myself, I'm from Orem (the youngest of six kids) and currently live in Provo with my wife, our dog, and our cat. My wife and I enjoy the good ol', "boring" date--dinner and a movie. We also love travelling and plan to be world travellers someday.
I'm attending BYU, majoring in civil engineering with a minor in music. I was in the BYU Men's Chorus for a number of years and loved it! I also love longboarding, though it's been far too long since I've been. Hiking is also fun, but again, far too long since I've been.
That's all I'm going to write because we're going to get to know each other really well as we have our tutoring sessions; and I can't wait!
