I love tutoring because I love the feeling of helping people understand and master concepts that they once thought were out of their reach. I love one-on-one interaction and being immersed in the teaching experience. I am a highly competent, easygoing, enthusiastic tutor. I will do my best to make sure that you understand the concepts, and have fun while you're doing it!

Q & A
What is your teaching philosophy?
Teaching should be catered to each student's style of learning. Asking questions along the way ensures that the student is grasping what is being taught.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
I might ask them what they feel like they are struggling with, which teacher they felt like most resonated with him or her, and why they think that is, as well as what subjects they like the most.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
By giving them assignments to do at home, and encouraging them to look online for resources for simple things that they do not know.
