What is your teaching philosophy?

I think that a teacher is a lot like a tailor, though perhaps more at a department store than a specialty store. The teaching materials are suits, most of which have been manufactured to fit generally for certain sizes, but none of which fit an individual perfectly. The teacher's job is to alter those teaching materials to fit the individual student. I do not subscribe to smart or not smart, only to different. Every student has the capacity to learn, and those who have the drive should have the opportunity.
