I am a Mechanical Engineer from Stevens Institute of Technology (Graduated in May 2012). I recently left my job after 2 years as a Manufacturing Engineer to pursue a different opportunity as a Project Engineer. I currently work for one of the largest Medical Manufacturing companies in the world. I have always been strong at all kinds of math, which led me to my Engineering degree. Throughout school, I was always working in groups and helping my friends understand lessons whenever I could. For two years in Stevens I tutored Physics and Calculus 1. I prefer understanding concepts, rules, and formulas over memorization because I believe that when you understand them for what they are used for an why, it builds a lasting comprehension that is easier to grasp. I prefer working through practice problems and believe that practice really does make perfect when it comes to Math.
For high school students, I could also give advice for applying to colleges since I am a recent graduate. I live in Bergen County, but was born, raised, and went to school in Hudson County. I have a 1.5 year old dog that doubles as my roommate. I enjoy watching and playing sports, hanging out with my dog, having fun with friends, and trying new activities and foods.
