I graduated from Knox College in Galesburg, IL with a degree in Chemistry and minors in both Biochemistry and German. I am currently employed here in St. Louis as a Production Chemist at a chemical company called Sigma-Aldrich. While at school, I worked as a TA for both general and Organic Chemistry and I have taken courses in a vast majority of chemical fields including Organic, Inorganic, Analytical, Physical Chemistry, Biochemistry and even Nanochemistry. I also took four years of high school German and four years of college German courses, and I enjoy finding new opportunities to practice my language skills. In addition to academics, I was a Division III football and baseball player throughout my time in college. Since everyone learns differently and has different needs, I try my best to get to know my students and their learning styles and present the information in a way that makes sense to them. I want our sessions to be comfortable and fun, as well as helpful! In my spare time I play guitar, sports, and even build computers. I am passionate about learning and all things Science! I am really looking forward to helping students with their coursework, but I am also willing to talk about time management, study skills, or just about anything else!
