Hi! My name is Justin Shannon and I have been in the teaching profession for over 10 years. I am a Latin scholar by degree with many years of teaching experience with students from kindergarten to community college. Along with Latin, I have taught a wide range of subjects from history, art history, the Humanities, English and English Composition, Essay writing, organizational and note taking skills, to drums and guitar. I am also available to tutor in Spanish up through 1st year College level.

I am committed to my student's success and do not believe in teaching to the assignment. I listen and ask questions to understand all of my student's challenges as well as strengths in our target subject. My teaching philosophy is to bring the student to the point where they can in turn teach the material themselves. This is the hallmark of my approach.
