I grew up in Taiwan and have been living in Seattle since 2002. I have an Art History Master's degree and was an Art History teacher, English teacher, and Chinese-English translator in Taiwan for a few years. I have a 12 year old son, and I teach him Chinese at home. I love teaching and understand that learning a new language can be very challenging. As a Chinese teacher, I believe that my job is to help you to pick up the language in a conversational context. Then, I help you to remember those expressions and words by doing all kinds of fun memory activities. I am a very easygoing person, and I believe all my students agreed with that. I like biking, hiking, and listening to music during my pass time. My dream is to become a writer.
