I'm an ESL instructor in Irvine, CA. I recently graduated cum laude from UC San Diego. I majored in Linguistics, with an emphasis on cognition and language, and was awarded departmental honors for my work as a teaching assistant, my academic performance, and my research projects. In addition to teaching English as a Second Language, I'm also working towards a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Chapman University, in order to pursue a career in Speech-Langauge Pathology.

I have experience tutoring in all areas of language arts, humanities and social sciences, as well as elementary math. I particularly enjoy teaching phonics, reading and writing. I also love working with students to help them write the best essays and statements of purpose possible! I will help you get into the college or graduate school of your choice!

In my spare time, I like to go hiking with my husband, practice my cello, read books, and enjoy the beautiful California coast!
