I'm a first-year medical student and recent graduate from Duke University, where I studied Global Health Determinants, Behaviors, and Interventions. From running a piano program at a nonprofit children's theatre to private tutoring in math, science, and standardized test prep, I enjoy helping my students become confident and self-sufficient learners!

...Harvard College. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Statistics. Since graduation, I have worked at hockey camps instructing young people on the ins and outs of the game. I am comfortable teaching all ages, but I specialize in SAT prep. I find teaching rewarding because I enjoy helping people reach their full potential. In my free time, I play hockey and am working on writing a screenplay. I also enjoy grilling and country music.

As an instructor, I believe that mastery is best served when students can find their stride. A tutor, or any instructor for that matter, should not only clarify difficult concepts, but help encourage an interest in the subject studied overall. ...tutor math. Algebra has always been my favorite subject with chemistry as my second favorite and is what I am most passionate about. I find that it is easiest for students to understand the subject when it is related to something they are interested in outside of the classroom. In my free time, I enjoy playing sports, especially soccer, as well as reading and occasionally running. I am also an avid NY Giants fan.

I am currently an undergraduate student at Wesleyan University and am majoring in molecular biology and biochemistry. At Wesleyan, I've been a member of the Science Outreach program, where we teach scientific concepts to students at local elementary schools.
