I am an undergraduate student at Boston University studying in the Seven Year Liberal Arts/Medical Education Program (BSMD). I was a National AP Scholar, US Presidential Scholar Nominee, and in the top 5% of my class. Additionally, I worked as an intern in a graduate-level biochemistry lab researching the metabolically reversed reduction of aldehydes to alcohols. I have 3 years of experience tutoring as an NHS Officer in a wide array of subjects. Additionally, I am experienced in the college applications process, including the drafting/editing of personal statements and school-specific essays. I believe that, with persistence and grit, students can develop an extremely solid foundation of learning that can aid them in tests and everyday life. I definitely stress practice problems and problem solving in my approach, however I am open and flexible to feedback and adjustment. As a tutor, I hope to aid students in attaining their full academic potential! Besides academics, I also enjoy spending time with friends, performing piano (especially classical and jazz), and composition.
