About Me

I am a graduate of Washburn University and Baker University. I received my Bachelor in Elementary Education with an Emphasis in Early Childhood at Washburn. As for Baker, I received my Masters in Science of School Leadership. With my degrees, I have taught for 6 years for grades K-5th. My experience involves teaching general education to grades 1st-4th, along with being a STEM teacher to all grades, all classes K-5th. While I teach a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Math, Literature and Science. With helping struggling students prepare for Standardized Tests, we always seem to have the most fun (with remarkable advancements) in understanding a variety of mathematical strategies. I hope to continue igniting a passion for learning for each student I encounter, no matter where they are at in their learning journey. In my spare time, I enjoy dabbling in new experiences and learning. From taking cooking classes to attempting Jui Jitzu!
