About Me

As an upcoming biomedical engineering sophomore at VCU, I am passionate about helping students and witnessing their growth and success. Working with students of all age groups, especially high schoolers, brings me great joy and fulfillment. During the COVID pandemic, I took the initiative to create a club called the Virtual Learning Lounge. Through this club, I connected over 75 students with peer tutors and personally tutored around 30 students in subjects such as Math, Calculus BC, and Algebra 2/Trig. I believe in tailoring my teaching approach to each student's unique needs, helping them navigate through various problems and challenges. My tutoring style is student-centered, emphasizing active engagement, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. I am a STEM-focused individual, and outside of academia, I am deeply interested in exploring advancements in science and technology, particularly in the field of biomedical engineering. In addition to math and related subjects, I also have experience tutoring biology and physics, which I hold a deep passion for. Exploring the intricate complexities of life sciences and understanding the fundamental principles of physics fascinates me. I am constantly engaged in research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in these fields. The opportunity to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with students, helping them grasp challenging concepts and develop a love for these subjects, is incredibly rewarding. Beyond academia, I am an avid researcher and enjoy delving into various scientific topics, expanding my understanding of the world around us.
