As a passionate educator and dedicated professional, I believe in the transformative power of personalized learning. With a strong background in technical consulting and tutoring, I have had the privilege of guiding hundreds of high school and college students on their academic journeys, maintaining exceptional ratings along the way. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) principles, which allows me to support students not just academically, but also in building their confidence and overcoming challenges. As the managing member of Walid Tutoring LLC, I offer a wide range of services, including tutoring in various technical subjects and coaching for standardized exams like the GRE, SAT, and ACT. My aim is to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring their learning styles. I am an SAT Full Test Certified Instructor (Certification # 10194), The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring for the SAT/Digital SAT and ACT assessments (TPAPT). I am also a licensed professional engineer with a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development. I have attained certification as a TEAM-CBT Coach and regularly attend workshops to stay updated with the latest methodologies in education and therapy. This blend of technical knowledge and psychological insight allows me to customize my teaching strategies to fit each student's unique needs. I received my BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications Management from the University of Maryland, College Park.
