About Me

I am a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a degree in Illustration/ Animation. After receiving my degree, I started my face and Bodypainting company while focusing on my children. Once they were old enough and no longer homeschooling, I began teaching art for afterschool and summer programs. I enjoyed working with children and sought other ways to reach children. I began tutoring math as an Apollo Math Fellow for HISD to help improve the standardized test scores. I later earned my teaching certificate and began teaching in the classroom. I believe all students can learn, and whether I am tutoring in art or middle school math, I will do my best to help students grow and learn.
