About Me

I am a graduate of Langston University where I then went on to Purdue University for graduate school. I received my Bachelors of Science in Natural Resources Management with a focus on Goat, plant biotechnology, and aquatic research. Since graduation, I have honed several lab skills including but not limited to molecular and biotechnology procedures in plants, fungi, and amphibians on USDA and government-university sponsored research projects as well as worked as a TA (teaching assistant). While I've tutored a broad range of subjects from literature to science, I am most passionate about plants (biology), learning new languages, and literature. In my experience helping students to excel in their courses, we always seem to have the most fun preparing for extensive science exams. I am a firm proponent of education and learning and I believe it to be vital for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy language learning which enriches my brain, cooking, tennis and gardening. Hobbies: books, writing, reading, cooking, gardening, music, art
