About Me

I am a graduate of Carleton College, which is a small liberal arts college in Minnesota. Here, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Biochemistry and took additional coursework in English, Arabic, and European Studies. Following my graduation, I took graduate-level courses in Biology to enhance my understanding of biological processes, and have also taken the MCAT. (Starting medical school this fall!) During this time, I have been finding ways to tutor different populations and to share my love of knowledge with others. I am particularly passionate about -- and have at least some experience in -- teaching English as a second language, teaching English and Math to elementary school children, teaching Biology and Chemistry to all age groups, and tutoring for the MCAT. I greatly value education as a commodity and as a way to improve one's way of life, and I am enthused whenever I successfully share my love of learning with my students.
